Driver arrested for allegedly careening into emergency room tent

Chula Vista Police Department Photo courtesy Chula Vista Police Department At least one person was injured when a man drove a sedan into a physiological tent at Sharp Chula Vista Curative Center last week The driver of the Honda sedan who was identified as a -year old man from San Diego was arrested at the scene of the July case on suspicion of driving under the influence He was transported to a local trauma center after suffering injuries as a impact of the collision The wagon first hit a gurney located behind an ambulance injuring a medic nearby who was then transported to a a trauma center with potentially serious injuries according to a release from the Chula Vista Police Department The motorcycle then continued through the parking lot into a chain-link fence which it pushed as it drove into the biological triage tent explained the message Three people inside the tent also reportedly suffered minor injuries as a upshot of the case Police say they do not believe it was an intentional act the inspection is ongoing
